How consultations work
From a crowded inbox to a workable next step
A defined process for sharing only what matters, using meeting time well, and leaving with a record of the next action.
01 — Send a short account
Use the contact form to identify the workplace decision, relevant dates, and any meeting or response deadline. Do not attach sensitive documents at this stage. We reply within one working day and confirm whether the question fits our consultation scope.
02 — Agree the useful boundary
We recommend a consultation type, fee, and available time. If legal representation or urgent specialist advice appears more appropriate, we tell you before accepting payment. A booking is confirmed only after scope and practical arrangements are clear.
03 — Select the documents
You receive instructions for sending only the decisive pages through the agreed channel. Common material includes the employment contract, the employer’s letter, a short email chain, dated personal notes, or a meeting invitation. Irrelevant health, identity, and third-party information should be removed.
04 — Work through the decision
The meeting begins with your desired outcome and the chronology. We read key passages together, test assumptions, consider consequences of different responses, and identify what information is still missing. Advice stays connected to the actual decision rather than becoming a general lecture on German employment.
05 — Record and refer
Where the consultation includes written follow-up, it arrives within two working days. If the matter needs a lawyer, works council, trade union, mediator, occupational health professional, or public office, the summary notes the reason and the question to take forward.
Prepare without building a complete case file
Write a one-page timeline, list the three questions you most need answered, and choose the smallest document set that supports those questions. If you have a dismissal notice or another document with a possible deadline, mention the date immediately in your first message.
