About

Calm thinking for difficult working days

Netframegrid was formed around a simple observation: many workplace disputes become harder because people must respond before they have organised the facts.

Why this practice exists

Employment questions rarely arrive at a convenient time. A terse email lands before a weekend; a meeting is scheduled without context; a contract clause becomes important only after plans have changed. Netframegrid provides a place to slow the sequence down, read the wording, and decide what deserves a response.

Our work sits between general information and formal legal representation. The aim is practical preparation: a reliable chronology, clearer correspondence, realistic routes for escalation, and recognition of the point at which a lawyer or other specialist should take over.

The practitioner

Mara Feld, workplace consultant works with internationally mobile employees, German line managers, and owner-led businesses. Her background combines employee-relations case preparation, conflict coaching, and policy implementation in Hamburg workplaces. She works in English and maintains referral relationships with independent employment lawyers and mediators when a matter exceeds consultation scope.

Working principles

Facts before labels

We begin with dates, exact wording, responsibilities, and documents. Terms such as “bullying,” “misconduct,” or “unfair” may matter, but they become useful only when connected to observable events.

The least harmful effective step

Not every disagreement needs escalation. We consider direct clarification, a documented request, management involvement, works council support, mediation, and specialist legal advice according to the seriousness and timing of the issue.

Clear boundaries

We do not promise outcomes or act as legal representatives. When a dismissal deadline, discrimination claim, regulated profession, immigration status, or cross-border arrangement requires specialist advice, we identify that boundary early.

Where meetings happen

In-person appointments take place by arrangement at Neuer Wall in central Hamburg. Online consultations are available for people working elsewhere in Germany. Documents and meetings are handled confidentially within the limits described in our privacy notice.
